  1. I think you could add more information about playground and how children enjoy a playground. Your fact is good how you mentioned “playgrounds offer children many things such as knowledge of nature, brain strength, activities and fun playful activities.” Which is true I think play is an important role to a Childs healthy brain development. Through play children at a very early age engage and interact in the world. overall I enjoyed your essay.

  2. I love all the information you gave about what playground features are engaging to children. I liked how you did not just stick to one part of the playground that engages children. You touch on the topic of the development of their mind, as well as their body. Which explains how playgrounds are great for children. The only thing I would add to you essay would be on the MLA8 Cited portion and that would be to add a publishing date.

  3. This is not a bad start, but there’s more work to be done for final draft.

    Some suggestions for revision:
–You don’t have the complete format of assignment. In addition to report, you need an annotated bibliography, which should be at the end. The annotated bib will give the Works Cited entry for each source and a short paragraph that explains what info is included in the source and why the source is credible. Check out Ryan G’s for an example: http://ryangordon01.edublogs.org/2018/07/02/essay-3-the-importance-of-playgrounds/

–Also note in assignment that you need five sources for annotated bib. You only need to use two of them in report, but you need citation and summary for the other three (you can use more than two in report if you want). That Time magazine article is very short. for your other three sources, I’d suggest looking for some longer articles–try the research databases or google scholar. That would give you more info in order to develop your report; right now, info given is mostly common knowledge.

–Check format for both Works Cited entries and in-text citations. Let me know if you have any specific questions. For revison reading for short reflection (and help in revision), look at the page on revising for research: http://writingaboutplace.edublogs.org/research/
